92nd USAAF-USAF Memorial Association Background Objectives

The 92nd Bombardment Group, 1/11 CCRC Memorial Corporation was founded on 17 November 1973. It is chartered in the State of Missouri as a General not for Profit Organization. It is recognized by the Federal Internal Review Service as exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions/donations made to this organization are federal income tax-deductible in accordance with Section 170.

The association's purposes are:

  1. Search out and register names and addresses of former and present (when applicable) members of the 92nd Bombardment Group (H), 92nd Bomb Wing (H), 92nd Air Refueling Wing, and the 325th Bomb Squadron (Reactivated) from 1942 to the present and to erect memorials to flight, ground and support personnel who served or lost their lives in WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, the Persian Gulf and Kosovo.
  2. Preserve friendships and memories as comrades-in-arms through periodic reunions stateside and overseas.
  3. In furtherance of our patriotic duty to following generations, collect and preserve historical artifacts.
  4. Contribute to the betterment of communities from which we flew, through appropriate donations.
